District Attorney Outreach
Not all the projects that the Foundation has assisted with are large projects. Smaller awards have been given to aid the day-to-day efforts on behalf of jurisdictions that could use a little help. The Foundation has provided support to several District Attorney offices to build and support websites that provide the local community with information and education about the duties and functions of the District Attorney. Yamhill County, Oregon, and Amador County, California, are two prime examples. Smaller grants such as these two, along with awards to the Idaho Prosecutor Association, the California District Attorneys Association, the Virginia Victims Assistance Network, the South Carolina 16th Judicial Circuit Solicitor’s Office, and the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office, along with others, have totaled more than $65,000.
